Aaron Elliott, LGSW, LADC
I am experienced in both mental health and addiction therapy and have experience working with clients from many different backgrounds. I work with men, women, and adolescents 13 years and older. It takes courage to ask for help, which is the first step to recovering from whatever issues may be present. In addition to addiction therapy, I also utilize mental health modalities for difficulties such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and social anxiety. My therapeutic approach is psychotherapy-based, and I use talk therapy, mindfulness skills, CBT, M.I., and peer development exercises. I believe in connecting clients to various resources/ supports that may be helpful to their recovery. I enjoy working with clients to find the best therapeutic approaches for them. I have an undergraduate social work degree from Winona State University and a graduate social work degree from Saint Mary’s University of MN. I received my addiction training from Metro State University.
